What kind of duvet to use with faux finished walls-solid or patterns?

Can you answer sinker’s question about Bedding?:

I did a sage-ish green ragging faux finish and would like a new duvet. Currently, there is just a plain burgundy comforter on the bed, and the room has burgundy accents throughout the room. I would really like to use toile. When is that okay?

    Bedding Feedback: I think toile is beautiful and as long as the rag finish is pretty subdued, I think a toile pattern would look wonderful. When in doubt though, the best thing to do is go to a fabric store, buy a fabric sample of the toile that you like, and bring it home to see how it looks with your furnishings and walls…
