How do you stop a feather/down duvet crackling every time you move?

My boyfriend has recently been given a really expensive duck feather/down duvet with 100% cotton cover… it feels amazing but every time one of us moves it wakes me up with the crackling! Its driving me mad! Any ideas how to get it silent?

Bedding Feedback: Remove it from the bed and buy a polyfil one!
Bedding Feedback: That is precisely why I hate those things. There is nothing you can do but get rid of it. (or him)
Bedding Feedback: It’s the feathers that are making the noise. No cure for this. I’m sorry to say this, but it can’t be that expensive. Get rid of it and buy a better quality one.
