What type of bedding should I use with a platform bed?

Can you answer kathymcbain’s question about Bedding?:
I have just purchased platform beds for all the bedrooms in my home and I’m not sure what type of bedding to buy. I don’t want the comforter, quilt, whatever to hang over the platform of the bed as the platform extends past the mattress and is really what I love most about the new beds.

Bedding Feedback: Waterbed sheets? And a comforter that you can tuck under or inbetween.
Bedding Feedback: Just tuck the spread under all the way around. To do that and have it look nice buy a thinner spread like a matelasse. A comforter or some quilts would be a little too bulky.
