Bedding Feedback: A lot of people say that egyptian cotton makes a softer fiber.
I have slept on egyptian cotton sheets and could not tell the difference.
I can however tell the difference between thread counts and prefer 600 or higher…. but then regardless of the type of cotton… if you want that high of a thread count, you’re going to pay for it. It doesn’t matter WHERE the cotton was grown!
I have a king size bed, and can count on spending $100.00 or higher for quality sheets that feel great and will LAST.
Bedding Feedback: its the way it feels and lasts, it makes a difference when you are comfortable while trying to sleep
Bedding Feedback: No, it’s not all the same.
Egyptian cotton (and other high-thread count bedding) are much, much softer and more luxurious than the lower-priced bedding available.
Has to do with the length of the fibers used in the weave of the cotton, but for practical purposes, the big difference is in the “feel” of the fabric.
Lots of people think it’s totally worth it to blow big bucks on the pricier stuff, but I’m in the minority … I actually PREFER the crisper, less soft feel of the cheaper ones!
Bedding Feedback: The thread count is 1500 for the Egyptian Cotton, therefore it’s of much better quality and will last you a very long time if well cared for, the money spent is money well spent, it might be expensive but the feel of it is worth every penny spent.
Bedding Feedback: NO! it’s not all the same.
Egyptian cotton is a longer fiber than regular cotton and makes a stronger thinner yarn which allows for those high thread counts. The high thread counts make for a softer sheet but the material is stronger and lasts a long time. The higher thread counts also allow the fabric to be more breathable and help to keep you from getting over heated while you sleep.
once you’ve slept on a high thread count or egyptian cotton sheet. You won’t want to go back to regular sheets.
I watch them and catch them on sale because no matter how high a quality the sheet set is, I have a hard time justifying spending over $50 for a set of sheets.
Bedding Feedback: I believe egyptian cotton has a higher thread count. higher thread counts cost more. but it feels wonderful on the skin. it washes and dries like a dream and it was last forever. cotton is a natural fabric. it’s a good thing.
Bedding Feedback: egyptian cotton is the best if it is good quality. very comfy. regular cotton is much rougher on your skin
